The existing 18 hole The Old Course has been spectacularly transformed from marshland to a picturesque parkland course, six miles south of Southport the course measures 6,955 yards from the Championship tees and has already hosted two events on the Challenge Tour and another on the European Seniors' Tour. The club is also known for hosting high quality charity and pro-am events featuring some well-known celebrities.

The 18-hole championship parkland course, set in 135 acres of tree-lined splendour offers, the perfect setting and test for all golfing enthusiasts. Its endless challenges including tree lined fairways, large undulating greens, reveted bunkers and numerous lakes and ponds, provides the ideal setting for you to put your game to the test.

Formby Hall may have just a decade of history, but it has already hosted some fantastic European Challenge Tour events. In 2000, a nail-biting playoff saw Sweden's Frederik Henge winning an 18th hole spectacular to see off a field of rising stars including England's Justin Rose and Ian Poulter

Hole 16 - 175 Yards Par 3

This is an extremely testing short hole with water everywhere. The prevailing wind is almost always straight back towards the tee which adds to the difficulty. With five bunkers in front of the green, a huge one at the back and at least 170 yards of water to carry, there really is no margin for error and a par three on the card is a great reward for picking the right club and hitting a solid tee shot!

Regarded as one of the best PGA accredited golf courses in the UK. This new unique 9-hole inland links course captures the true challenges of links golf with its numerous strategically placed reveted pot bunkers, and large undulating greens.
