You are here: Home| Combine a golf break with a day at a race meeting

Have a little or big flutter and feel the adrenaline pumping when you stand near the finishing post and watch your horse pass the winning line. Hopefully in first place! Whether you are a seasoned gambler or a complete novice everyone can enjoy a day or night at the races; win or lose. With varying entrance prices it really does mean there will be something available to suit everybody's budget.

The UK is scattered with race courses and a number are within easy reach of golf resorts ideal for those Horse racing and golf breaks.  Race meetings take place on selected dates throughout the year, however booking early is recommended to guarantee availability at any of the golf resorts listed below. This recommendation is due to the fact that hotels do tend to sell out and may also become more expensive as the race meeting day draws closer. A typical golf and race break is listed below

Towcester races and 2 N, DBB and 2 rds at De Vere Staverton Park.

Friday - Arrive, Check-in and enjoy a few drinks before being transported from the hotel to Towcester Races.

- Pick up tickets at the hotel or the race course

- Enjoy a day/night at the races.

- Picked up after the races and transported back to the hotel for a nightcap.

Saturday & Sunday - Play 1 round each day

Guide price £160 per person
