This is the story of a Family and a Golf Club, in 1965 Guadalmina hosted the Spanish Championship, and later in the history of the Club many other important tournaments were hosted in Guadalmina, like European Tour Qualifying School in 1995 and 1996, or the Spanish PGA Championship in 1998. In 1973 , the second Course was built under the supervision of Mr. Folco Nardi, and the par 3 course in 1989 made the actual configuration of Guadalmina Golf.

The South Course
This is the oldest course of the Gualdalmina complex. It was designed by Javier Arana in 1959 and is renowned for its difficulty, thus making it more suitable for experienced players. The North Course
Designed by Folco Nardi in 1973, this course runs almost parallel to its southern “brother”. It is shorter and hillier than the south course and has more water obstacles. The course requires straight drives down the middle of the fairways as failure to do so may have one ending up in one of the numerous water hazards hidden in the rough.
